about
With ‘Alpha’, Paid Roza begins to illustrate the somber esotericism that is interwoven in his lyrics. Here, he aims to introduce his voice as a one of divinity and knowledge; through such proclamations as “I’m so full of 777, 666, 333…” he is able to selflessly imply that god is within him, the devil is within him, and that the unification of mind, body, & spirit along with his angels & demons will bestow upon him infinite wisdom in order to righteously carry out his true will. His approach to production is both pristine and akin to his UDF cohort Khrist Koopa; Paid Roza creates an ambiance encompassing his voice entirely and genuinely and in this way you are able to hear the science of his craft. His art is less literal and more allegorical or metaphorical in that there is a consistent underlying meaning/message in his work that is left up to the listener to decipher. Alpha is the intro to Paid Roza’s upcoming album titled NFLM that will elucidate his wisdom and flair for ingraining power and knowledge in those who seek it.
